TERMS OF SERVICE — VOLTPLUG LA Last updated: October 11, 2026
1. Chargebacks — Contact VoltPlug LA First Before initiating a chargeback about an order, notify VoltPlug LA at support@voltplugla.com with your order number and a clear explanation of the issue so we can investigate and help resolve it. A chargeback initiated without prior notice to VoltPlug LA will automatically result in a ban from future purchases with VoltPlug LA, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We may decline future orders associated with the affected customer. Prior notice means contacting our support team before opening the dispute; it does not mean you need our permission to exercise a lawful dispute right. This policy does not require you to delay reporting unauthorized charges, miss a bank or payment-provider deadline, or waive lawful billing-dispute rights. The ban applies only where lawful and does not remove our obligations for existing orders, required refunds, or applicable warranty and consumer remedies. We may respond to a dispute with accurate order records, tracking, delivery evidence, and communications. Filing a chargeback does not by itself establish fraud.
2. Scope and Acceptance These terms govern use of www.voltplugla.com and purchases made directly from VoltPlug LA. Read them together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any product-specific terms disclosed before purchase. By placing an order, you accept the terms presented for that purchase. Mandatory consumer protections take priority over any conflicting provision. Our store uses Shopify to support online sales.
3. Eligibility and Customer Information You must be legally able to enter a purchase agreement. A parent or legal guardian must place and authorize purchases for a minor. Provide accurate billing, delivery, and contact details, use an authorized payment method, and protect your account credentials. We may request reasonable verification or decline an order for a lawful reason, including suspected payment fraud.
4. Orders, Availability, and Pricing An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order. Fulfillment remains subject to availability and payment verification. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are disclosed before payment. Promotions follow their stated conditions. If we discover a material pricing, availability, or description error, we will contact you. We will not impose a higher price or substitute a materially different product without your agreement. If we cannot fulfill the agreed order, we will refund the affected purchase promptly.
5. Product Information and Compatibility Review the model, size, color, specifications, stock status, and delivery schedule before ordering. Images may be illustrative, and screen settings can affect displayed colors. These differences do not excuse delivery of a materially misdescribed product. Speed, range, and performance vary with rider weight, terrain, settings, weather, and maintenance. Confirm the exact compatibility of chargers, batteries, parts, and accessories before purchase. Contact us when a listing does not answer your compatibility question.
6. Final-Sale Purchases Vests, apparel, keychains, accessories, and merchandise are final sale for change-of-mind, fit, or customer selection errors unless a specific return option was offered before purchase. Bike, e-bike, e-moto, and scooter purchases are generally final sale. We may consider discretionary assistance individually. These restrictions do not remove remedies for misdescribed, defective, incorrectly supplied, or undelivered merchandise where required by law. 7. Special Orders and Cancellation Requests Special orders are sourced after purchase through our supplier network or an overseas supplier or manufacturer. Supplier processing may begin shortly after payment. Send cancellation requests promptly. A discretionary cancellation may be unavailable once fulfillment has begun. Any applicable cancellation charge must be lawful and disclosed before purchase; we will explain the proposed resolution before you accept it. No cancellation fee or other deduction will reduce a refund that applicable law requires us to provide in full. Required cancellation rights for delayed or unfulfilled orders are described in our Shipping Policy.
8. Warranty and Product Concerns Warranty coverage, if offered, depends on the particular product and the written warranty provided for it. Ask us for the applicable warranty before purchasing if the listing does not provide it. Manufacturer warranty claims are assessed under the manufacturer's terms. We can assist with supporting information and available claim procedures. This does not replace VoltPlug LA's own obligations or any nonwaivable consumer warranty rights. Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, modifications, and maintenance issues may affect coverage according to the applicable warranty and law. Stop using a product that appears damaged or unsafe and contact us.
9. Riding, Assembly, and Legal Use Buyers must follow the manufacturer's assembly, charging, maintenance, age, and operating instructions and arrange qualified assistance when needed. Do not assume that a product may be ridden on public streets, sidewalks, trails, or bike paths. Confirm the rules applicable to the specific product and intended location, including any licensing, registration, equipment, and age requirements. Use appropriate protective equipment and ride responsibly. Reflective clothing does not replace required lighting or safe riding practices. These responsibilities do not release VoltPlug LA from liability that cannot legally be waived.
10. Payments and Financing Payment and financing services may be supplied by third parties. Financing approval, interest, repayment schedules, and account requirements are determined by the relevant provider. A financing agreement does not change your rights concerning the merchandise. Required refunds will be processed through the applicable payment or financing channel promptly and within the legally required timeframe.
11. Website Use, Content, and Privacy Do not use the site for payment fraud, impersonation, malware, harassment, or unauthorized access. We may restrict access for violations, subject to applicable law. VoltPlug LA branding and original content belong to us or their respective rights holders. Use them only with permission or as allowed by law. Our Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information. External websites and optional third-party services have their own terms. Those services do not remove our responsibilities for purchases made directly from VoltPlug LA.
12. Liability and Consumer Rights To the extent permitted by law, VoltPlug LA excludes liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from site use or a purchase. This exclusion applies only where lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct, violations of law, or other liability that cannot legally be limited. No provision eliminates nonwaivable product, warranty, delivery, refund, or consumer remedies.
13. Governing Law and Policy Changes California law and applicable federal law govern these terms, subject to mandatory protections applicable to the customer. Updates will be posted with a revised date and apply prospectively. A later policy change will not retroactively remove rights under an existing order. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
